Tori is an American painter working primarily in oil. She paints from life and captures stories through her works. Each painting is hers alone, from canvas preparation to final brushstroke.

Each painting is built up in Gamblin oil colors, milled in Portland, Oregon. The paints are solvent-free, contain no lead, mercury, or arsenic-based pigments, and are bound in linseed and safflower oil. Properly cared for, an oil painting with this material is built to last for generations. For more information, please reference Materials.

All archival prints are produced on Hahnemühle 100% cotton paper made by a German mill that has been producing fine art paper since 1584, on the same site, inside a designated nature reserve in Lower Saxony. The inks are Epson UltraChrome pigments, rated by Wilhelm Imaging Research at up to 200 years of display life under conventional framing conditions. The oil paintings are made with conservation-grade paints and intended to last for generations.

Archival prints, framed under glass and kept out of direct sunlight, are rated to retain their integrity for over a century — and considerably longer in archival storage.

Yes. Each original and museum-grade giclée print arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity documenting the work, its materials, its dimensions, and its place in the edition.

We ship original paintings and archival prints throughout the United States. International shipping is available on request — please contact us before purchasing so we can arrange the appropriate carrier and provide a quote.

Archival prints typically dispatch within five to seven business days and arrive within ten to fourteen business days. Original paintings ship via white-glove freight; lead times are seven to twenty-one days depending on the work, the framing requirements, and the destination. Archival prints ship flat in rigid presentation mailers — never rolled, never folded. Each print is interleaved with acid-free glassine. All print shipments are tracked and insured.

Yes. Every shipment receives a tracking number by email within twenty-four hours of dispatch.

When shipping internationally, we estimate and pre-pay customs and duties on international orders. The recipient is responsible for any additional of 'in-excess' customs duties, taxes, or import fees levied by the destination country. We declare full value on all shipments.

All sales are final.

Each work we offer — whether an original painting or archival print is made and chosen with intention. We do not offer returns or exchanges. Before purchasing, please take your time with the photographs, descriptions, and dimensions on the product page, and do write to us if you would like additional images, video, a sense of scale in context, or simply a conversation about a particular piece. We are glad to spend time with any question before you commit.

We pack with care, but transit damage occasionally happens. If your work arrives damaged in any way, write to us within seventy-two hours of delivery with photographs of the damage and the packaging as received.

For archival prints and The Correspondence, we will dispatch a replacement at our cost. For original paintings, which by their nature cannot be replaced, we will arrange and underwrite professional conservation of the work — or, where the damage cannot be reversed, provide a full refund processed within five business days of the work's return. Every shipment carries transit insurance, so these remedies remain available to you in any circumstance.

Yes. Interior designers, architects, art directors and art consultants are invited to apply for our trade program, which offers commission and preferential pricing on originals and prints, a dedicated point of contact for client work, and assistance with installation planning. Tori takes a small number of private commissions each year. Each commission is a collaboration: we begin with a conversation about scale, palette, setting, and the spirit of the work, and proceed from there at the artist's pace.

A commission begins with a written brief and a deposit of fifty per cent of the agreed price. The artist works through preliminary studies, which are shared with you before the final canvas is begun. The balance is invoiced on completion, and the work is shipped or delivered once payment is settled.

Commissions typically take three to six months from brief to delivery, depending on scale and the artist's current schedule. We do not rush this work.

Commission pricing scales with size, complexity, and timeline. A starting figure is provided after the initial conversation; pricing is firm once the brief is signed.

All major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal. For original paintings and commissions, bank wire transfer is also available on request.

Yes. Both archival prints and original works of art may be purchased through Klarna or Shop Pay Installments at checkout, each of which splits your payment into four interest-free instalments. Eligibility and the upper limit are determined by the provider at the point of sale. For larger originals or commissions that exceed standard instalment limits, please write to us directly to arrange bespoke terms.

Yes. All payments are processed through Shopify Payments, which holds PCI-DSS Level 1 certification — the highest standard of payment card security. Your payment details never touch our own servers.

No. Guest checkout is available for all purchases. Creating an account allows you to track orders, save shipping details, and receive updates on new work as it becomes available.

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD). International customers will be charged in their local currency at the prevailing exchange rate; any conversion fees are set by the card issuer.
